PHILIPPE AGID is a graduate of the National School of Administration in Paris, France and served as a member of Jacques Chaban Delmas' cabinet from 1969 to 1972.
He later served as Secretary-general of the National Foundation for Management Education (FNEGE) before joining the Lafarge Group. From 1995 to 2001, he worked with Hugues Gall as Secretary-general of FNEGE. Agid has advised several French cultural leaders and co-authored L'Opéra de Paris: Gouverner une Grande Institution Culturelle with Jean-Claude Tarondeau.
JEAN-CLAUDE TARONDEAU is currently an Honorary Professor at Essec Business School in France.
He holds a PhD from the University of Texas in Austin, USA and a Doctorate from the University of Paris Dauphine. He has been a professor of Strategy and Management at Essec and the University of Paris X-Nanterre in France. Tarondeau served as Chief Editor of the Revue Française de Gestion from 2002 to 2008 and has published ten books and over sixty articles. He co-authored Philippe Agid's book, L'Opéra de Paris: Gouverner une Grande Institution Culturelle.
