The house where Yuriy spends his vacation is the one that was rented by Tatyana. The businessman comes to an old town that he hasn't visited in many years. He finds it hard to recognize and, being bored, decides to get acquainted with the locals. As a result, he becomes friends with Tatyana, who introduces him to her family and shows him around the countryside. The days go by and Yuriy can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia for his carefree youth. He begins to help Tatyana with her work on the farm and even starts learning more about rural life.

However, he is still not content, as his mind keeps wandering back to his luxurious life in the city. One evening, while sitting on the porch with Tatyana, Yuriy mentions that he is a wealthy businessman from the city. Tatyana's eyes widen in disbelief, and she asks him why he came to live like this. Yuriy answers that he made a bet with his friend and decided to spend ten days living simply. Tatyana listens attentively as Yuriy continues to speak. She can see that he is torn between two worlds - the one he left behind and the one he has stumbled upon now.

Tatyana suggests that perhaps he should stay for a while longer, learn more about rural life, and maybe even find some peace in this quiet corner of the world. He tells her that he has learned a lot during his time in the countryside and promises to visit again someday.

As he leaves, he can't help but feel a sense of peace and contentment that he hasn't felt in years. Tatyana watches Yuriy drive away, feeling grateful for the experience she has just shared with him.
